Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 20, 2026

Recevi LLC ("Recevi," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us or that we collect on behalf of our business clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you visit our website (recevi.co), engage with us as a business client, or interact with a Recevi-powered AI phone agent operating on behalf of one of our clients.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at daniel@recevi.co.

  1. WHO WE ARE AND WHO THIS POLICY APPLIES TO

Recevi LLC is a Pennsylvania limited liability company that provides AI-powered phone receptionist services to local service businesses (the "Service"). Our AI phone agents answer inbound calls on behalf of our business clients, capture caller information, book appointments, and send transactional SMS confirmations.

This policy applies to three groups of people:

Website visitors: anyone who visits recevi.co

Business clients: businesses that engage Recevi to provide AI receptionist services

End-callers: individuals who call a phone number serviced by a Recevi-powered AI agent on behalf of one of our clients

  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following categories of personal information:

From website visitors:

Contact information you submit through forms (name, email, phone, business name, message content)

Technical information collected automatically (IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referrer)

Cookies and similar analytics technologies

From business clients:

Business identification (company name, EIN, business address)

Account credentials and billing information

Configuration data needed to operate your AI agent (business details, FAQs, scheduling rules, service area)

Payment information processed by third-party payment processors (we do not store full payment card numbers)

From end-callers (people who call a Recevi-powered phone line):

Phone number (caller ID and any number provided during the call)

Name, address, and other information voluntarily provided to the AI agent during the call

Audio recordings and transcripts of the call

Call metadata (date, time, duration, outcome)

Information about the reason for the call

From individuals who opt in to SMS through our website:

Mobile phone number

The fact, date, and method of SMS opt-in (consent record)

  1. SMS COMMUNICATIONS

This section describes how end users opt in to SMS, how SMS data is used, what messages we send, how frequently, and how to opt out. A standalone, publicly accessible version of these SMS disclosures, including our web opt-in form, is available at https://recevi.co/sms.

SMS program summary. Recevi (operating on behalf of its business clients) sends transactional appointment text messages, such as appointment confirmations, reminders, and related follow-ups. Message frequency varies by appointment activity, up to approximately 5 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. No mobile information or SMS opt-in data is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Brand name. SMS messages sent through the Service are sent on behalf of the Recevi business client whose phone line the caller contacted. The brand name (e.g., "Mike's Plumbing") is identified in the call-to-action and in the first SMS message sent to the recipient.

How end users opt in. Consent to receive SMS is voluntary and is never a condition of any purchase, service, or account. Any consent checkbox is unchecked by default, and SMS consent is kept separate from these Terms and this Privacy Policy. End users may opt in through either of the following paths:

Web opt-in. At https://recevi.co/sms, an individual may enter their mobile number and check an unchecked consent checkbox to agree to receive transactional appointment text messages from Recevi on behalf of the relevant business client.

Verbal opt-in during an inbound call. When an individual calls a Recevi-powered phone line and the AI agent helps them book an appointment or capture their information, the agent asks explicitly: "Would you like a confirmation text with the appointment details?" If the caller agrees, the agent confirms the destination phone number — either the caller ID of the inbound call, or a different number the caller explicitly provides and verbally confirms — and reads the destination number back before sending. SMS is sent only after this explicit confirmation. The call is recorded as proof of consent and the recording is retained for not less than five years.

Each opt-in applies only to the transactional SMS program described here. Consent is not transferable to any other program or campaign, and we do not enroll a recipient in any other messaging based on a single opt-in.

Message categories. SMS messages sent through the Service are transactional only and include:

Appointment confirmations

Appointment reminders

Service updates and follow-ups directly related to the appointment

Replies to the caller's inquiries

We do not send promotional, marketing, or solicitation SMS through the Service.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on the recipient's appointment activity, up to approximately 5 messages per month. Typically, a recipient receives one confirmation message per booked appointment, plus any related reminders or follow-ups for that appointment. Recipients will not receive recurring marketing messages.

Pricing. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out (STOP or any reasonable method). You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by any other reasonable method (including email to daniel@recevi.co, voicemail, or any clear request to stop receiving messages). Opt-out requests will be honored as quickly as possible, and in any case within 10 business days as required by federal law. Upon receiving an opt-out request, we will send one final acknowledgment message confirming your opt-out, the brand name, and that no further messages will be sent.

Opt back in (START). You may opt back in at any time by replying START. You will receive a confirmation message and SMS service will resume.

Help (HELP). Reply HELP to any message to receive assistance. Our HELP response includes the brand name, our contact email (daniel@recevi.co), and basic information about how to manage your SMS preferences.

No sharing of SMS data — mandatory disclosure.

No mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of data sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy specifically exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and SMS consent records; this information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances, including in the event of business mergers, acquisitions, or asset transfers, except where compelled by law.

  1. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use collected information to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Service

Communicate with business clients about their account, billing, and service updates

Operate AI phone agents on behalf of our business clients, including capturing caller information and booking appointments

Send transactional SMS to end-callers and website opt-ins who have provided consent

Comply with legal obligations including TCPA, CTIA Messaging Principles, state privacy laws, and applicable telecommunications regulations

Protect our rights, the rights of our clients, and the safety of end-callers

Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity

  1. CALL RECORDING AND CONSENT

Calls handled by Recevi-powered AI agents may be recorded and transcribed as part of the Service. Recording practices comply with applicable consent laws based on the jurisdiction of the call.

In two-party (all-party) consent states — including California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington — callers are notified at the start of the call that the call may be recorded and that they are speaking with an AI agent. By continuing the call after such notice, callers consent to the recording.

In one-party consent states, our business clients (as one party to the call) consent to the recording as part of their service agreement with Recevi.

Recordings may be used for service delivery, quality assurance, proof of consent for SMS opt-ins, dispute resolution, and as required by law. It is the responsibility of our business clients to ensure their use of the Service complies with the recording, telemarketing, and consumer privacy laws applicable to their operations and the jurisdictions in which they operate.

  1. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances, and SMS opt-in data is specifically excluded from all sharing (see Section 3):

With service providers that help us operate the Service, including cloud hosting, telephony providers, voice AI providers, analytics tools, and payment processors. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may use the information only to provide services to us.

With our business clients. When you call a phone number serviced by a Recevi-powered AI agent on behalf of one of our clients, the call data (including your name, phone number, address, reason for calling, and call recording) is shared with that business client as part of the Service we provide them. This is necessary for the client to fulfill the service you called about.

When required by law, including in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Recevi, our clients, our users, or the public.

In connection with a business transaction. In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. SMS opt-in data and consent records will NOT be transferred and will be deleted or remain non-transferable in any such transaction.

  1. DATA SECURITY

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. While no system is perfectly secure, we work to industry-standard practices to keep your data safe.

In the event of a data breach that affects personal information, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable law.

  1. DATA RETENTION

Comply with legal obligations (including SMS consent records, which we retain for not less than five years to demonstrate compliance with the TCPA, and for ten years for Virginia residents as required by state law)

Resolve disputes

You may request deletion of your information by contacting us at daniel@recevi.co. We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
